One Piece merch really has entered its anything-is-possible era. After figures, shirts, collabs, sneakers and every kind of collectible under the sun, McCormick is now getting in on the Grand Line action with a limited-edition One Piece spice kit.
Yes bro, this one is literally for your kitchen.
The seasoning brand has released a One Piece-themed pack priced at US$25.99 MSRP, which is roughly around RM122 before shipping, taxes or reseller markup. No Malaysia retail availability was mentioned in the source, so local fans will probably need to watch import stores, forwarding services, or anime merch resellers if they want to grab it.
The kit comes packed in a treasure chest-style box, which already makes it feel more like a collector item than just something you throw beside the kicap and chili flakes. Inside are four different seasonings inspired by the world of One Piece:
- The One Spice All-Purpose Seasoning — a 2 oz bottle with onion, fried garlic, sesame and tangerine notes. McCormick suggests using it with chicken, pork, seafood, vegetables and stir-fries. The label features the Going Merry.
- King of the Meats Seasoning — a 2.62 oz bottle built around chili, cardamom and lime. It is meant for beef, chicken, pork or seafood, with live-action Luffy, played by Iñaki Godoy, on the label.
- Sanji’s Baratie Seasoning — a 2.5 oz blend featuring onion, parsley, turmeric, Sauvignon Blanc wine and lemon. McCormick pairs it with seafood, chicken, vegetables and potatoes, and the label highlights the Baratie.
- Chopper’s Cotton Candy Finishing Sugar — a 3.37 oz sweet topping with cotton candy and toasted marshmallow flavours, recommended for ice cream, frozen yogurt or fresh fruit. Naturally, the label shows Chopper enjoying cotton candy.
For Malaysian and SEA fans, this is the kind of collab that hits two crowds at once: One Piece collectors and people who actually enjoy cooking. The spicy, citrusy and garlicky profiles do not sound too far away from flavours we already love in this region, especially for grilled chicken, seafood, fried rice, instant noodles or air-fryer experiments at home.
That said, Muslim buyers and halal-conscious fans should check the full ingredient label carefully before ordering, especially because Sanji’s Baratie Seasoning includes Sauvignon Blanc wine in the listed blend. Imported anime food merch can be fun, but it is always worth checking certification, ingredients and local customs rules before paying international shipping.
Pre-orders are currently open, with McCormick expected to start shipping the kit next month according to the source material.
The timing also makes sense. Netflix’s live-action One Piece premiered its first season on August 31, 2023, and the adaptation has become a major part of the franchise’s global push. The second season, Into the Grand Line, premiered in March 2026, while a third season titled The Battle of Alabasta is expected next year.
So yeah, this is very much a fan-service product — but not the useless kind. If you are already the type to display anime merch on your shelf, a treasure chest spice kit is pretty funny. If the blends actually taste good, even better. Sanji would probably roast your technique first, but at least the seasoning is on-brand.
